The Maiden Edition of Unity Schools Old Students Association (USOSA) Sports Carnival took place on Sat 6th May 2023 with Fun fair with members from 30 Unity schools across the country, took place at the Cricket Oval of Tafawa Balewa Square.

Guess who was at USOSA Sports Carnival, you guessed right, ISANJA “I Sabi Naija” Board Game. We featured as an exhibition game where members played for fun and networking.

Never a dull moment with ISANJA “I Sabi Naija” Board Game. Looking forward to having ISANJA at the Next edition as a competitive game among USOSA Members.

The Crowd was wild, the energy was high. Before the night started, someone asked, what is happening here (at Cafe One, Lennox Mall, lekki), we said Karaoke and Games Party. Games Night like never before; Karaoke and ISANJA “I Sabi Naija” Board Game. I said to him, we will give you fun like you’ve never had before. Lets meet at the end and they tell me you experience. At the end, we met, and he said “I have planned to leave around 8:30pm but its almost 10:30, that tell you how much i enjoyed myself.

ISANJA “I Sabi Naija” Game is the Nigeria Game that brings out the competition in you. I can describe Akara quickly “Shey u eat it with pap, its made from beans” thats easy but how do I describe Cyprian Ekwensi. I know the name, it use to be in my head, but i have forgetten how to describe him, and its 4 point. Then the Wild cards, OMG, the game twister, everyone was just targeting my team; see them looking for ways to hold us back from winning.

We had so much fun, small chops from Small Chops.ng, drinks from Dala Drink (the unique Nigerian apple star liqueur made from agbalumo) and Amber Energy drink energized us, we had all the energy for ISANJA “I Sabi Naija” Game and Karaoke (oh, i dindt forget the Karaoke). First was individual song then later we played Karaoke with a twist, we played Combat Karaoke; Teams against Teams. So much fun, until they asked us to since one song i never heard of from one of those Old school Yoruba daddies. I was so surprised his song was available in the database with lyrics, we tried small.

And our Game Master (Mister Rain – @themisterrain) was the Bomb. He made grown up people, matured men and women to loose their home training. He started us off with the individual Karaoke session before we got to the main attraction ISANJA “I Sabi Naija” Game. Step by Step he took us until he started acting like INEC, we almost called him Mr Yakubu, but he was fair and ruthless; you must get it as it is on the card he said. Thanks Mister Rain (aka the corporate entertainer), you made Karaoke and Games Party so much fun.
